Human thinking is based on violence those who think otherwise are going to be disappeared or ignored, waiting for the tides to return or facing their inexistence.
So where is peace in our thoughts? drowned in a chaotic mind? Or in the isolated shelter, We've built for ourselves?

Remember the night, when no sun came up the morning after.
remember the fear that made your eyes wide open
grasped your breath, and made you it's slave.
time flies and We're prisoners of our own thoughts
thoughts of culture, of age, history and civilization
drowned in believing a lie called freedom, the lie that made our fathers to suffer and our mothers to weep for.

with all your tears and laughter I leave you alone.

Perished down in a casket, is how I see this life
clotted blood, no longer flowing in the veins of time.

It is a pain, as long as time. Screams in my head like a lunatic.
wants to make me his own, to suffer for his wishes, and to mourn for his past.
A wandering star, in this chaos, like an orphan, without a path.
And what is this hunger? to be unique? and always being satisfied, and feeling no flaw?
is it us creating a mirror, to reflect our image, hiding the lunatic behind the mask

Wonderful, beautiful, densely layered music. I'm glad I gave this album several headphone listens before commenting. It did not immediately strike a chord with me, but the more I listened the more I began to understand and appreciate how fantastically rich and deep the sound is. For fans of atmospheric and melodic prog, this is an excellent addition. Bass and drum work are exquisite! paliojen_black

Ukrainian musician/composer/producer Antony Kalugin is amazingly prolific. Amongs all his other projects this was already the 13th Karfagen album (released in early 2022). Of course, a new one is ready to see the light of day in early 2023 ;-) This album is (as all his stuff) clearly 70s oriented, "golden-era prog", extremely rich in melodies and arrangement ideas. Some jazzy, folky, classical influences included and very well sounding, too :-) Almost disappeared in the deep wishlist 8-o Carsten Pieper
